Question: Are there any alternative spring break trips to haiti for high schoolers?

Of course there are, there are many islands in the Caribbean thatb you can choose from. I would suggest the following: 1. Barbados, 2. Puerto Rico and my third choice would be USVI. Hope this helps! ♥

I doubt it. It's been over a month since the earthquake and the country is still an unorganized mess. People are shooting each other in the streets just so they can get some food. It would be entirely too dangerous to let any volunteers, especially minors, go down there. There are other places you can go for a volunteer trip. alternativebreaks.org/ SiteBank_Catalog_Online.asp
