Question: Where is a beautiful exotic spring break vacation place?

My family plans on a family fun exotic and tropical vacation, where to go? btw, not a crazy long plane ride, 7 hours at the most

Where are you flying from? If from the USA- Key West (subtropical), Ecuador, Aruba If flying from Asia - Bali,some of the smaller resorts in Thailand, Hainan (go for the southern beach, though, the Hilton is lovely). Southern Sri Lanka is pretty, too. ....

I think National Geographic's "Places of a Lifetime " expedition has a lot of good suggestions: Some of the highlights of that trip are Angkor Wat, The Great Wall, the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, Petra, Istanbul. A few places I'd add: Tikal, Guatemala Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Iguazu Falls Tokyo, Japan Benares, India Kathmandu, Nepal (and the Himalayas) The islands of southern Thailand Victoria Falls Lalibela, Ethiopia Cairo, Egypt the Alhambra, Spain

Morocco is about as exotic as you can get, there are beaches, mountains, forests, deserts, plains and hills. The people are very hospitable, bazaars are packed with all sorts of colorful handicrafts, foods are delicious and public transportation is fairly inexpensive (especially trains.) Marrakech is a lively city, coastal cities such as Agadir, Essaouira, Assilah and Tangier are nice places to spend a few days. You will want to go back again no matter how long you stay. (been there 6 times) If you do go bring cameras, there is much to photograph.
